It’s believed that RAW will still have commercials when it moves over to Netflix.
Last January, it was announced that WWE RAW will move to Netflix in 2025, leaving fans with many questions as to what the presentation of the company’s flagship show will look like on its new platform, particularly with it being a streaming service that doesn’t usually provide live content. Now, more is known as to what the viewing experience of WWE RAW may look like next year.
Per Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, it’s believed that Monday Night RAW will still have commercials when it arrives on Netflix, with the platform wanting to add advertisements into its programming.
“There will be commercials on Netflix as one of the reasons Netflix picked up Raw is because they are trying to add commercials to programming and the Raw and pro wrestling audience is used to commercials on the shows, but they can adjust a lot differently then on regular television such as when and how long the breaks are and not have the show to the second when it comes to that.”

While adverts are set to stay during RAW on Netflix, a lot still remains to be seen as to the presentation of the red brand. It’s speculated that WWE will have more freedom when it comes to the use of blood and profanity, but we’ll only know how different RAW will be once it arrives on Netflix in around three months.
As always, we’ll aim to provide any further updates on WWE RAW’s move to Netflix as soon as we hear more.
