WWE reportedly believe that Daniel Garcia won’t be leaving AEW.

When Daniel Garcia made his return to AEW at All In, many assumed that he had re-signed with the company. It was later clarified by PWInsider that this wasn’t the case, but it appears as if WWE think Garcia has made up his mind regarding his future.

Per Dave Meltzer in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, WWE are reportedly of the belief that Garcia has chosen to stay with AEW, despite their previous attempts to recruit him.

“One has to think bringing him back is the indication he’s staying. Those in WWE seemed to believe that. When the angle was done, several close to the situation noted that they expected him to stay but he had considered WWE, which was trying to recruit him.

While the belief appears to be that Garcia will stay with AEW, there hasn’t yet been any official word regarding his future, so all options remain on the table. The 25-year-old’s current deal is said to see him through October, and he’s set to do battle with MJF at All Out in just over one week’s time.

As always, we’ll aim to provide any further updates on Daniel Garcia’s AEW future as soon as we hear more.
