Several staff members are believed to no longer be with WWE.
Since the formation of the TKO Group that saw WWE and UFC merge, there have been a number of layoffs within both companies as TKO look to assimilate both sports and entertainment titans to help cut costs and maximise revenue, and it seems as though that trend has continued once again today.
PWInsider are now reporting that WWE laid off a number of employees today, with one source believing this to have affected more than one division.
“World Wrestling Entertainment had a number of employee layoffs today, PWInsider.com has learned. We are told there were “a few” layoffs, including some long-standing employees. We have not confirmed the divisions involved but it was believed by one source to be more than one area of the company.“

Additionally, the report notes that there is no word on whether the depatures are related to today’s announcement that the UFC and WWE live events division are merging into one division going forward.
