Hobbs has a number of supporters in WWE according to a new report.
Since the inception of All Elite Wrestling, numerous stars have moved from Jacksonville to Orlando and vice versa, and WWE now appears to be monitoring another AEW talent.
According to Dave Meltzer in the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Powerhouse Hobbs is attracting interest from several figures within WWE.
“There are those in WWE who are very high on Powerhouse Hobbs.”
-Dave Meltzer
Powerhouse Hobbs is currently one-third of the AEW World Trios champions alongside his Opps stablemates Samoa Joe and Katsuyori Shibata.
Since making his AEW television debut in 2020, Hobbs has steadily risen through the ranks. He first found success as a member of Team Taz before going on to win the TNT Championship in March 2023.
Despite WWE’s apparent interest, there has been no update on the details of Hobbs’s contract status, so for now, their admiration may simply be from a distance.
As always, we’ll aim to provide any further updates on WWE’s interest in Powerhouse Hobbs as soon as we hear more.
