There’s been an update on some European talent that could be on WWE’s radar.
This year, in the lead-up to WrestleMania 41, WWE have made many stops across Europe. The company have held in the likes of Italy, Belgium and Spain in recent weeks, with Scotland and England also hosting upcoming episodes of RAW and SmackDown respectively. Now, an update has emerged suggesting that, while in Europe, WWE are taking the chance to have a closer look at some of the continent’s prominent talent.
Per Fightful Select, it’s believed that Luke Jacobs, Goldenboy Santos and Zozaya are all among the names invited by WWE to their March 30 European tryout.
“Fightful Select has learned that after his big 2024, PROGRESS World Champion Luke Jacobs has also been invited to the tryout following an appearance as part of WWE’s security team for SmackDown in Barcelona, with Goldenboy Santos also being invited following his appearance in Spain. Spanish talent Zozaya, who also featured as part of that group of extras, is also scheduled as we previously reported.”

It’s also noted that Adam Maxted, who has previously appeared on Love Island, was also invited to the tryout. As for who won’t be there, Michael Oku’s chances of being brought in were described as ‘extremely unlikely’, while Peter Tihanyi is ruled out through injury.
As always, we’ll aim to provide any further updates on WWE’s European tryouts as soon as we hear more.
