A major Hollywood name could be set for an appearance at WrestleMania 40.
With WrestleMania 40 around a month and a half away, excitement is building for what is set to be one of WWE’s biggest events of all time. WrestleMania has typically been a crossover event, with many famous faces from outside the reals of professional wrestling having made appearances on the ‘Grandest Stage of Them All’ throughout the years, and it now appears as though another major collaboration could be in the works.
According to a new report from WrestleVotes, WWE sources indicate that the company is interested in working with Sylvester Stallone for WrestleMania in some capacity, with the Hollywood star having ties with Philadelphia thanks to the iconic Rocky franchise.
“Sources within WWE indicate there is interest in collaborating with Sylvester Stallone for WrestleMania in some form. While any communication status is unclear, I’m told there’s hope for it. Whether it ultimately ends up happening or not is to be determined. Stallone, born in NYC, gained fame through the iconic Rocky films, deeply associated with Philadelphia.”

Stallone is no stranger to the world of sports entertainment, having inducted Hulk Hogan into the WWE Hall of Fame back in 2005.
As always, we’ll aim to provide any further updates on the possibility of WWE working with Sylvester Stallone at WrestleMania 40 as soon as we hear more.
