WWE Reportedly Looking To Build NXT Around EK Prosper

EK Prosper looks set to be featured heavily on WWE NXT.

In October 2025, Eli Knight was revealed to be one of WWE ID’s latest prospects, with it later confirmed in January 2026 that he had officially signed with WWE and would be heading to NXT.

According to BodySlam, Eli Knight (EK Prosper) is one name WWE are looking to build the NXT brand around moving forward, with officials said to think highly of the rising star.

“One of the superstars NXT is looking to build around is EK Prosper (Eli Knight). — Sources indicate to Bodyslam that WWE officials think highly of EK Prosper. Another source noted to expect to see Prosper showcased heavily moving forward.”

WrestleVotes Radio on Fightful Select recently revealed that WWE’s recent trademark filing for EK Prosper was for Eli Knight, with the company reportedly believing his previous name to be too similar to LA Knight of Monday Night RAW, who was previously known as Eli Drake.

EK Prosper competed in a mixed ten-man tag team match alongside Hank & Tank, Shiloh Hill, and Wren Sinclair as they defeated Birthright on Countdown to Stand & Deliver on April 4.
