WWE reportedly turned down TNA’s offer to induct AJ Styles into their Hall of Fame.
Prior to this weekend’s TNA Bound For Glory pay-per-view, the company held its now annual inductions into their Hall of Fame. This year, it was Rhino and Bob Ryder who were recognised for their respective contributions to TNA in its history, although a new report suggests that the lineup of inductees almost featured a different legendary name.
Per Fightful Select, it’s believed that WWE were approached about the possibility of AJ Styles being an inductee into this year’s TNA Hall of Fame class, which they are said to have declined.
“Fightful was actually told that the possibility of AJ Styles was broached with WWE, who passed on the opportunity. We weren’t told specifically why, but people in TNA believe it’s due to AJ’s injury or active storyline.”

TNA are also believed to have wanted Monty Brown for the 2024 Hall of Fame class, and, despite not getting either he or Styles this year, it was clarified in the report that the door is not shut for both men to potentially be inducted later down the line. However, whether this happens in the future remains to be seen.
As always, we’ll aim to provide any further updates on the possibility of AJ Styles joining the TNA Hall of Fame as soon as we hear more.
