RAW and SmackDown could both be three hours next year.
In October 7, Monday Night RAW became a two-hour show for the first time in over a decade ahead of its move to Netflix in January. Following this, it was rumoured that SmackDown could be adding a third hour as part of its deal with the USA Network, and many wondered what WWE’s main two brands would look like in the new year. Now, an update has emerged on what could be planned as to the structure of RAW and SmackDown in 2025.
Per Dave Meltzer in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, it’s believed that WWE are working with the idea that both Monday Night RAW and Friday Night SmackDown will be three-hour shows.
“Right now the working idea is three hour Raws and three hour Smackdowns.”

This change also coincides with a shift as far as commentary is concerned, with Pat McAfee making his return to the booth alongside Michael Cole in the not too distant future, with it noted by Meltzer that Joe Tessitore and Corey Graves were slated for a move to SmackDown as of a few months ago, although this is currently yet to be confirmed by WWE.
As always, we’ll aim to provide any further updates on the planned structure for RAW and SmackDown as soon as we hear more.
