WrestleMania 41’s location has yet to be confirmed.
Earlier today, the Governor of Pennsylvania, Josh Shapiro, took to X in a now deleted post to discuss which events were coming to Philadelphia in 2026. Along with the MLB All-Star Game, PGA Championship, NFL Draft and FIFA World Cup, Shapiro raised eyebrows by mentioning that the state will host WrestleMania in two years time, and there has now been an update on the speculation regarding WrestleMania 42.
Per PWInsider, it’s believed that WWE were surprised by Shapiro’s mention of WrestleMania, saying that the location for the show in two years time has not yet been confirmed,
“In speaking to several within WWE sources this morning, they were across the board pretty surprised by Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro’s mention that Wrestlemania 2026 would emanate from Philadelphia, noting that it was not something that had been discussed internally. We are also told by a well placed source who would be involved that the location for Mania 2026 has NOT locked in stone as of this writing.”

The report also notes there is speculation within the company that Shapiro may have meant to mention WWE as a whole, rather than specifically WrestleMania 42, however this is yet to be confirmed. For now, it seems as if the location for 2026’s WrestleMania remains up in the air.
As always, we’ll aim to provide any further updates on the location of WrestleMania 42 as soon as we hear more.
