Royce Keys is yet to be factored into WWE’s plans.

Following his departure from All Elite Wrestling upon the expiration of his contract, Powerhouse Hobbs made his WWE debut at the Royal Rumble on January 31 under the name Royce Keys. However, he has yet to reappear on WWE television since his arrival.

During the latest WrestleVotes Live Q&A on Fightful Select, WrestleVotes was asked for an update on Royce Keys’s plans in WWE, to which it was made clear that there has been complete radio silence.

“Nothing. Absolutely nothing. We had speculated for months that SmackDown was the place for him. It certainly does seem like that’s going to be his home. He was backstage Friday night… Don’t know when he’s showing up on TV. Hopefully they have an idea. Hopefully this is part of the plan.”

While Royce Keys has yet to make an impact on WWE television following his Royal Rumble debut, he has appeared on Stephanie McMahon’s What’s Your Story?, with WrestleVotes later noting on X that McMahon enjoyed her time with the former AEW star.

During his time with All Elite Wrestling, the then-Powerhouse Hobbs captured the AEW TNT Championship and the AEW World Trios Championship alongside Samoa Joe and Katsuyori Shibata as part of The Opps.

As always, we’ll aim to provide any further updates on future plans for Royce Keys as soon as we hear more.
