Yet another name has committed their long-term future to WWE.
With 2024 just around the corner, the eyes of many fans are set to turn to next year’s expiring contracts, and it appears as though WWE have already begun to make their moves, with a number of stars having recently put pen to paper to extend their spells with the company.
It now appears as though another name can be added to the list of talents staying with WWE, as PWInsider are reporting that Zelina Vega has signed a new multi-year deal with the company.
“WWE Friday Night Smackdown star Zelina Vega has come to terms wth WWE and signed a new multi-year deal with the company, PWInsider.com has confirmed with multiple WWE sources. Vega is the latest talent to sign a new deal following the Endeavor takeover of the company.”
-PWInsider
Vega is currently a member of the LWO alongside Rey Mysterio, Carlito, Cruz del Toro, and Jaoquin Wilde, and had her most high profile match earlier this year against Rhea Ripley at Backlash in Puerto Rico.
Additionally, the report notes that Zelina received rave reviews internallg for her acting work in the angle where Santos Escobar turned on Rey Mysterio, and thus it’ll be interesting to see how she’s positioned heading into the new year.
As always, we’ll aim to provide any further updates on Zelina Vega’s new WWE contract as soon as we hear more.
