ZERO1 Unveils Bracket For Strongest Tag Team One Day Tournament

ZERO1 announced the lineup and bracket for their upcoming “Strongest Tag Team One Day Tournament”, which is scheduled to take place on Monday, November 1.
The competition will feature six tag teams competing in a single elimination tournament. Four teams will battle over two first round matches, and then each winner will battle a fresh duo that received a first-round bye.
Masato Tanaka will team up with Hide Kubota in a first round matchup against Hide’s brother and main tag partner Yasu Kubota and his partner Tsugutaka Sato. Meanwhile, Hayabusa will partner with Chris Vice against Koji Doi and Takuya Sugawara in the other first round match.
The winner between Tanaka/Kubota and Kubota/Sato will then go on to wrestle Katsuhiko Nakajima and Yuki Toki while the winner between Hayabusa/Vice and Doi/Sugawara will do battle with Junya Matsunaga and Bryan Ishizaka.
Of course the winners of those semi final matches will then compete in a final at the end of the show.
This one day tournament will take place at the ZERO1 Dojo in the Tateishi neighborhood in the Katsushika Ward in Tokyo. The show is scheduled to begin at 1pm Japan Time.
Then, on November 28, ZERO1 will commence their Furinkazan Tag Team tournament, the preeminent tag team competition in the promotion. The only team that has been confirmed for it so far is Hayabusa and Koji Doi.
