WWE are reportedly still high on the injured Zoey Stark.
On May 19, Zoey Stark suffered a knee injury during a triple threat with Rhea Ripley and Kairi Sane. The 31-year-old unfortunately tore her ACL, MCL and Meniscus, being sidelined for around five months as of the time of writing. Now, an update has emerged on when she might be eyeing up a return, as well as how WWE view Stark heading into the future.
In a new update from Bodyslam, it’s believed Zoey Stark’s recovery from injury is going well, with a return in mid-2026 the aim. In terms of what’s next, it’s noted she may be in line for a run as a babyface.
“Zoey Stark’s recovery has been going well and the initial timeline for her return is currently somewhere in the middle of 2026. WWE officials are still very high on her and have been talking about the direction of her character upon return as a potential babyface.”

So far in her WWE career, Zoey Stark has captured the NXT Women’s Tag Team Championships alongside IYO SKY, and she’s long been touted as someone the company see as having potential. With her return still over six months away, it remains to be seen whether she can build momentum once she re-enters the fold likely around one year after sustaining her injury.
As always, we’ll aim to provide any further updates on Zoey Stark’s injury status as soon as we hear more.
