Jey Uso feels as if his WrestleMania 40 match with Jimmy Uso let some people down due to time constraints.

At WrestleMania 40, Jey Uso took on Jimmy Uso in what was only the third brother vs. brother match to happen on the ‘Grandest Stage of Them All’. The match had been built for months, with Jimmy costing Jey both the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship and the Intercontinental Championship on the road to ‘Mania, but, heading out of the show, the match fell flat in the eyes of many fans.

Speaking on Gorilla Position, Jey reflected on the clash with his brother, admitting that he feels as if they let the people down with their WrestleMania 40 outing.

“I kind of feel like we did let the people down. I wanted to go out there and have a straight up banger, too. I wanted to do the wrestling part, but make sure the emotion part was there. It was just a time issue, Uce. You just have to play your position on the team. That’s what happened. I’m still happy. I got a singles match on WrestleMania with my brother. That’s a big picture. I’m always going to have me and him with the face off at WrestleMania. I’m going to frame a picture.”

With Jey specifying that the match was cut short due to a time issue, it would certainly be interesting to know what was initially planned for the brother vs brother showdown before previous matches went over their allotted time.

As for what’s next, Jey Uso is currently the number one contender to RAW’s World Heavyweight Championship and will battle Damian Priest for the gold at Backlash in Lyon, France.

As always, we’ll aim to provide any further updates on Jey Uso WWE WrestleMania 40 match as soon as we hear more.
