There has been a new update on FTR’s AEW contract situation after their return on AEW Revolution Sunday Night.
On AEW’s Revolution PPV, FTR returned after the tag title match which The Gunns won, after the match The Gunns were cutting a promo in the middle in the ring & getting heat for calling themselves the best tag team in the world, and thats when FTR’s music hit to a huge pop from the crowd. FTR then brawled with the Gunns, got the better of them and stood in the ring with the tag belts in hand.
Before Revolution, FTR had been off for a number of months, and a few tweets and podcast quotes from Dax Harwood lead people to speculate much about their future. However, according to a report from PWInsider, the belief is that FTR have signed long term contracts with AEW.
“The belief was that FTR are locked into long-term deals with AEW and their disappearance and tease of going elsewhere was just a storyline cover.”

This of course is not confirmation that FTR have signed new AEW deals, but it seems like many believe that is the case and seems to make the most sense since it was well known FTR’s old deals were due to be up very soon, and with them returning at Revolution seemingly in a world tag title feud that many expect them to win would suggest that they’re going to be around for a while.
