AEW President Tony Khan believes WBD are committed to his promotion for the longrun despite rumours of interest in WWE’s broadcasting rights.
This past Monday saw the New York Post reveal that the exclusive negotiating period between WWE and their current broadcasting rights holders, Comcast and FOX, has come to an end, and thus other parties, such as Disney, Amazon, and even Warner Bros. Discovery may now come to the table.
Speaking to John Pollock and Brandon Thurston of POST Wrestling & Wrestlenomics, AEW President Tony Khan was asked about the reports of Warner Bros. Discovery potentially holding an interest in WWE’s broadcasting rights and that they’re not exclusive to AEW. Whilst Khan was hesitant to share the specifics of All Elite Wrestling’s deal with the global media and entertainment company, he did state that their current contract highlights their commitment to the promotion.
“I don’t wanna talk too much about the contract we have with Warner Brothers Discovery, but I definitely have some pretty favourable things in there. And given the commitment Warner Brother Discovery is making for AEW with Collision and Dynamite, I think it really shows that they’re fully committed to AEW.”

This upcoming Saturday will see the debut of AEW Collision, the promotion’s new 2-hour Saturday night wrestling show on TNT, and thus with the network adding additional hours of AEW programming to their weekly schedule, its clear that they’ve been happy with the company’s growth thus far.
The aforementioned Collision debut show will eminate from the United Centre in Chicago, Illinois, and will see the returning CM Punk team with FTR to take on the team of Bullet Club Gold and Samoa Joe.
