Bayley has commented on Mercedes Moné potentially returning to WWE.
Prior to departing WWE for Japan as Mercedes Moné, the former Sasha Banks shared many memorable moments with fellow former multi-time WWE Women’s Champion Bayley, both standing across the ring and side by side as tag team partners. Whilst Bayley has been incredibly supportive of her former tag team partner’s decision to bet on herself outside of WWE, she’s made no secret of her desire for the pair to eventually reunite.
Speaking with Gorilla Position, Bayley was asked whether she talks to Moné about a potential WWE return in the future. The Damage CTRL member revealed that she begs her to come bag daily, noting that she’s desperate to get back in the ring with the former IWGP Women’s Champion.
“I beg her every day. I beg her every chance…you know what, it doesn’t matter where it is. It doesn’t matter how it happens. I would love to one day step back in the ring with her. Whether it’s teaming with her, whether it’s against her. But right now, I just want whatever happiness she needs to feel, whatever she needs to accomplish her dreams, accomplish her goals. I’m just happy to see her happy,”

Since leaving WWE, Mercedes Moné has competed for both New Japan Pro Wrestling and Stardom, becoming the second ever IWGP Women’s Champion by defeating fellow former WWE Superstar KAIRI, before dropping the title to Mayu Iwatani.
Whether Bayley and Moné will have the chance to reunite in the near future remains to be seen, however for now, Bayley’s sights will be firmly set on capturing the Money in the Bank briefcase tomorrow night in London.
