WWE are believed to be interested in acquiring Nick Aldis.
Earlier today, PWInsider first reported that former Nick Aldis had finished with IMPACT following his unsuccessful bid to recapture the World Championship from Alex Shelley at this weekend’s Slammiversary show. This marked the end of Aldis’ second stint in the company, with many wondering what his next step will be.
Now, PWInsider has provided some more insight into Nick Aldis and his next career move, revealing WWE’s interest in recruiting 36-year-old and there has also been internal talks of giving him a trial as a producer as soon as next month.
“Numerous WWE sources today confirmed that there is high interest in former NWA and Impact Wrestling Champion Nick Aldis now that he is free and clear.
“We have heard from sources today that Aldis’ name has been discussed internally as a potential Producer for the company in recent weeks.”

In the past, as Aldis initially finished up with NWA, it’s said that WWE were interested in the star having an appearance in the Royal Rumble, something which never came to fruition.
