The New Day member is seemingly dealing with an injury.
Last night’s episode of Monday Night RAW saw The New Day’s Kofi Kingston take on the ‘Kofi Claus’ persona alone, with his tag team partner Xavier Woods being noticeably absent from the show.
PWInsider have now provided an update on the reasoning behind Woods’ absence, revealing that he’s been taken off the road to heel from an unspecified issue.
“While we have not confirmed the nature of the issue, we are told Woods is banged up and has been taken off the road to heal up.”

Additionally, the report notes that Woods was in Birmingham, Alabama, a few weeks ago as well, and thus, this appears to have been a recent decision to pull him from travelling.
The New Day were originally advertised for RAW’s Holiday Tour dates post-Christmas, however, that has now been changed to just Kofi Kingston.
