High praise for Tony Khan from Kevin Von Erich.
In conjunction with A24’s “The Iron Claw,” AEW welcomed the legendary Kevin Von Erich and his sons Ross and Marshall Von Erich whilst passing through their homestate of Texas. Ross & Marshall competed in a handful of matches across both AEW and ROH, with Kevin making appearances both backstage and at ringside.
In a recent interview with A2theK, Kevin was asked about his experience with AEW, with the WWE Hall of Famer praising Tony Khan for his love for the industry and claiming that every promotion should have someone like him.
“I love those people. It’s a great company. I know this isn’t anything, but the catering was great! What good food. The people are really nice. Tony Khan is something else. Every company needs a guy like that. Somebody that loves the business. That can look at the business like it was his first day every morning. That’s that guy. I have a lot of admiration for him. The wrestlers, all great, old friends,”

The Von Erichs last appeared for AEW on the February 16th episode of Rampage, teaming with Dustin Rhodes to defeat Hitt, Romero Crews, & Shimbashi.
