Rhea Ripley Says Giulia Hasn’t Been Given Many Big Opportunities In WWE

Rhea Ripley believes Giulia deserves her chance to shine in WWE.

Prior to joining WWE in late 2024, Giulia was hailed by many as one of the best women’s wrestlers in the world, with her natural charisma and hard-hitting style helping propel her to the World of Stardom Championship among a lengthy list of accolades. ‘The Beautiful Madness’ is yet to capture the same magic in WWE, however, and one of her peers is now pushing for her to receive more of the spotlight.

In an interview with Shakiel Mahjouri ahead of WrestleMania 42, Rhea Ripley spoke on her role as someone who elevates her competition and claimed that Giulia hasn’t been given many major opportunities by WWE thus far.

“You go back and you watch my match with Giulia. Giulia is new to the main roster, but she’s been at this for a long time. But she hasn’t been given many big opportunities in WWE yet. Yes, she might be the [United States] Champion, but she also hasn’t been given long matches on the main roster and that spotlight to really show that she can shine. So I’m gonna go out there, I’m gonna bust my ass, and try and make her look good. And hopefully that opens up some more opportunities.”

The pair have shared the ring a handful of times since Giulia arrived on the main roster, with their only singles encounter coming during the February 20, 2026 edition of WWE SmackDown as Rhea Ripley picked up the win via disqualification.

Rhea Ripley is set to challenge Jade Cargill for the WWE Women’s Championship at Night Two of WrestleMania 42 at Allegiant Stadium on April 19. Despite currently holding the WWE Women’s United States Championship, Giulia is not set to feature on either night of WrestleMania 42.
