Becky Lynch reveals how she got music by The Wonder Years as her entrance theme.

At SummerSlam 2025, Becky Lynch debuted a new entrance theme, ending over a decade of the star using ‘Celtic Invasion’ by CFO$. While many liked the old song, her new music caught many off-guard as WWE partnered with The Wonder Years to give the Irishwoman’s an entrance that was completely unique to the rest of the roster. Now, Lynch has revealed how The Wonder Years came to make her music.

Speaking with Chris Van Vliet on Insight, Lynch recalled the process of changing her theme song.

“It was a bit of a struggle. I was thinking of coming back, and I was like, you know, I just don’t feel like my entrance music represents me anymore, probably didn’t represent me for about seven years, didn’t feel it. It always felt too happy-go-lucky, so I reached out to Dan Campbell from The Wonder Years, and I was like, ‘If I can get it through, is there any chance you guys would be interested in writing me a new theme song?’ Instantly, he wrote back, yes, hell yes, and he got to work, and I was like, okay, but let me just clear it through Hunter. They have ways of doing things where they want their guys to write the song and then the other band does the cover. Dan was already too far gone, and I was already too in love with his song that it ended up being a whole thing. But we got it done. There was a lot of phone calls and a few fights. So we got it done.”

With the new song playing Becky to the ring, she was able to successfully retain the Women’s Intercontinental Championship against Lyra Valkyria in a No-DQ match at SummerSlam 2025. She’d keep the title until November, but, although she lost it to Maxxine Dupri at Madison Square Garden, she was able to reclaim it on the first RAW of the year.

Yet, she now once again finds herself in pursuit of the title, this time with the gold around the waist of AJ Lee. On WrestleMania Saturday, the pair will have their second singles match together as they look to end their seven-month rivalry.
