Randy Orton wants to RKO The Rock.

Despite being two of the biggest names in WWE history, Randy Orton and The Rock have never had a singles match together. Given ‘The Great One’ was absent from the ring between 2004 and 2011, their careers didn’t overlap for long, with their only encounter coming in a three-on-two handicap match at WrestleMania 20. Now, Randy Orton has now addressed still wanting to take down The Rock.

Speaking to The Schmo, ‘The Viper’ was asked who he’d still like to RKO. Here, he revealed The Rock would be at the top of the list.

“I’ve RKO’d everybody I want to RKO, but I haven’t RKO’d The Rock, and if for some reason all the stars were to align… Rock would be at the top of it, for sure.”

While The Rock hasn’t made a WWE appearance since Elimination Chamber 2025, his family connections to wrestling and history with with the current Undisputed WWE Champion led to speculation that ‘The Final Boss’ could’ve been the one working with Randy Orton in the lead-up to his match with Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania 42.

With Pat McAfee being the one in Orton’s corner this past weekend, fans continue to wonder when we’ll next see The Rock on our screens. For now, an interaction between the Hollywood star and WWE’s ‘Apex Predator’ remains a hope rather than an expectation for fans.

Elsewhere in the interview, Orton named another former world champion he’d like to feud with before his career is over. You can read more about that here.

As always, we’ll aim to provide any further updates on Randy Orton as soon as we hear more.
