Ricky Saints could soon be heading to WWE’s main roster.

With WrestleMania 42 now behind us, a number of NXT stars have been called up to the main roster, with Ethan Page, Sol Ruca, and Joe Hendry all heading to Monday Night RAW. With Oba Femi, Trick Williams, and Je’Von Evans having landed on WWE’s main roster earlier this year, the company is seemingly weighing up another addition to either Monday Night RAW or Friday Night SmackDown.

BodySlam are now reporting that WWE has discussed calling Ricky Saints up to the main roster. However, sources also note that The CW is hoping to retain at least one of NXT’s established veterans as a new era looks to establish itself following a wave of main roster call-ups.

“Sources indicate to Bodyslam that WWE has had discussions about potentially calling up Ricky Saints. Another source indicated that the CW would like to keep at least one established veteran on NXT in the men’s division for the time being with the recent call ups of Je’Von Evans, Trick Williams, Oba Femi, Ethan Page, and Joe Hendry.”

Ricky Saints officially joined WWE in February 2025 following a successful spell with All Elite Wrestling as Ricky Starks. Should Saints make the jump to WWE’s main roster, he would depart NXT as a former NXT Champion and NXT North American Champion.

This past Tuesday’s episode of NXT saw Ricky Saints attack Shiloh Hill backstage, with the pair set to square off in one-on-one action next week.

Earlier this week, Ricky Saints graded his runs in All Elite Wrestling and NXT. You can read more about that here.

As always, we’ll aim to provide any further updates on the possibility of WWE bringing Ricky Saints to the main roster as soon as we hear more.
