EVIL Reportedly Expected To Make His WWE Debut Imminently

EVIL could be set to make his WWE debut imminently.
On Friday, April 24, PWInsider reported that former IWGP Heavyweight Champion EVIL had officially signed with WWE following his New Japan Pro-Wrestling departure in January. With fans awaiting his arrival, a follow-up report noted that EVIL has yet to be assigned to any of WWE’s brands and is instead listed internally as part of the “Misc.” roster.
However, that could be about to change, as BodySlam are reporting that sources expect EVIL to make his WWE debut imminently.

Last week’s episode of NXT saw Tony D’Angelo receive a box bearing the Japanese kanji for “war”, prompting speculation that EVIL could be the mystery sender. With D’Angelo set to discover his next challenger for the NXT Championship tonight, the ‘King of Darkness’ could be poised to make his first appearance on WWE television.
Regardless of which brand the former leader of House of Torture ultimately lands on, PWInsider recently reported that Japanese sources expect EVIL not to retain his name, and it therefore remains to be seen how WWE will choose to present their latest signing.
