The New Day Reportedly Decided To Leave WWE Based On TKO’s New Offer For Them

The New Day reported decided to leave WWE due to a new TKO offer.
Just hours ago, it was confirmed by Sean Ross Sapp and Cory Hays that The New Day had left WWE by mutual consent. The news came as a major shock to both fans and talent across the wrestling world, with many genuinely believed that Woods and Kingston would stick with the company until they retired. Now, more has emerged on why the duo chose to explore their options elsewhere.
According to Bryan Alvarez of F4WOnline, it’s believed TKO had asked Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods to restructure their longterm contracts with the company.
“We can also confirm that in the case of New Day, it was their decision to leave based on what TKO was offering for a new deal. To be specific, New Day’s deals were not up. They were asked to restructure to TKO deals, they didn’t like the deals, so they were then granted their release.”
