AJ Styles believes Danhausen is doing a great job in WWE.

Despite making his WWE debut to a far from positive reaction at Elimination Chamber on February 28, Danhausen has since won over the WWE Universe with his comedic antics, and he now has the backing of a recent WWE Hall of Fame inductee.

During the latest episode of his Phenomenally Retro Podcast, AJ Styles shared his thoughts on Danhausen’s WWE run thus far, stating that he feels the former All Elite Wrestling talent is adding variety to the product.

“He’s doing a great job, and this is what we need. A lot of people don’t understand it. We need a little bit of everything. We want to make sure you get the entertainment from wrestling, but also we want to make you laugh, too, and we got the storylines. We want to give you a little bit of everything. Danhausen is definitely filling the need.”

This past Saturday at Backlash: Tampa, Danhausen teamed with Minihausen as the pair picked up the victory over The Miz and Kit Wilson. PWInsider Elite later revealed that Minihausen was portrayed by Mascarita Sagrada of AAA, who was previously known to the WWE Universe as El Torito.

Following his in-ring retirement at the Royal Rumble on January 31, AJ Styles now works for WWE as a talent scout, looking to help pave the way for the next generation of Superstars.
