Zilla Fatu Says He Isn’t Interested In Signing For AEW, Heart Is With WWE

Zilla Fatu has his eyes firmly set on joining WWE as he rules out signing for AEW.
With The Bloodline having been WWE’s most dominant force of the 2020s, many fans have pointed to Zilla Fatu as another member of the Anoa’i family who could soon become the latest addition to the Samoan Dynasty within the company.
In an interview with Bootleg Kev, Zilla Fatu was asked whether he would consider signing with All Elite Wrestling if WWE took too long to bring him in, to which he made it clear that his sole focus is on joining his family in WWE.
“No. I think my heart is with the E right now. So I’m not gonna break that cycle [because it’s where his family is]. And then not only that, I got unfinished business as far as my dad’s legacy to fulfill. So that’s why. I want to go over there and turn that sh*t up, and at the same time, build my own brand.”

Zilla Fatu is the son of the late former Intercontinental Champion Umaga and currently has just under three years of experience competing on the independent scene for promotions such as 4th Rope Wrestling, House of Glory, and Game Changer Wrestling, among others.
Whilst Zilla Fatu has made it clear that becoming ‘All Elite’ isn’t currently on his agenda, he did compete for the AEW World Championship earlier this year, coming up short against MJF at HOG No Turning Back on February 20.
This past Saturday at Backlash: Tampa, Roman Reigns successfully defended the World Heavyweight Championship against Jacob Fatu in the show’s main event, although with Fatu attacking Reigns after the bell, it’s clear that Zilla Fatu’s cousins are far from done with one another.
