Big Bill’s AEW Contract Reportedly Expiring Soon

Big Bill’s future with AEW is uncertain.
Since joining All Elite Wrestling in August 2022, Big Bill has found success within the promotion’s tag team division, holding the AEW World Tag Team Championship once alongside Ricky Starks. More recently, he has teamed with Brian Keith, initially as part of The Learning Tree under the guidance of Chris Jericho before rebranding as Paid In Full.
However, his time with All Elite Wrestling may be nearing its end, as Fightful Select report that Big Bill’s contract was believed to be set to expire at the end of May or the beginning of June as of April, with it currently unclear whether he has since agreed to a new deal.
“Sources that Fightful Select spoke with in April were of the belief that as things stood at that point, Bill’s AEW deal was set to expire at he end of May or start of June. We haven’t learned if he’s re-signed since then, but he hasn’t been on ROH or AEW TV since we learned of it.”

Formerly known as Big Cass in WWE, where he is best remembered for his time alongside Enzo Amore, Big Bill was released by the company in 2018. He would initially work across the independent scene alongside Amore before making his way to Impact Wrestling in 2021 under his real name of W. Morrissey.
Morrissey made his All Elite Wrestling debut in May 2022 and later adopted the Big Bill name upon officially becoming All Elite in August 2022. Thus far in 2026, he has made just two appearances on AEW Collision and has predominantly competed in Ring of Honor.
