Mike Santana is believed to be done with TNA Wrestling.

At the start of June, reports began to emerge on WWE’s believed interest in Mike Santana, with False Finish even noting that company sources expected the TNA star to sign with them upon the expiration of his contract. With rumours surrounding the now former TNA World Champion’s future refusing to go away, it now seems as if Santana is moving on from the promotion.

According to PWInsider Elite, it’s believed Mike Santana has finished up with TNA Wrestling, with his contract up in a matter of days.

“With his contract slated to expire in the upcoming days, TNA sources have confirmed Mike Santana has finished with the company and will not appear at this week’s Impact taping in Albany, NY.”

Santana’s second reign as TNA World Champion came to an end at this past weekend’s Slammiversary Premium Live Event. As he nears the exit door, the star can look back on an incredibly successful run with the company having arrived there with the aim of raising his stock in the singles division after primarily featuring alongside Ortiz in AEW.

While WWE may soon be his new home, Santana has already made several NXT appearances, wrestling five times on Tuesday nights as part of TNA’s partnership with the brand. Most recently, he teamed with OTM to battle DarkState on March 31.

Recently, Santana addressed the speculation surrounding his future, making time to express gratitude towards TNA. You can read more about that here.

As always, we’ll aim to provide any further updates on Mike Santana’s future as soon as we hear more.
