Jack Perry Reportedly Signed New Deal During AEW Dynamite

Jack Perry signed his new deal with AEW during last week’s episode of Dynamite.
After weeks of speculation following reports that Jack Perry’s contract with All Elite Wrestling was due to expire soon, the July 8 episode of AEW Dynamite saw Perry reveal that he had officially re-signed with the company in a vignette showing the former TNT Champion putting pen to paper alongside Tony Khan.
Fightful Select have now revealed that the on-screen contract signing was legitimate, as Perry had not actually re-signed prior to the moment viewers saw on last Wednesday’s episode of AEW Dynamite.
“Jack Perry’s contract signing was legitimate, and we’re told it was the actual contract being signed on the AEW segment. He had not re-signed prior to that.”

Jack Perry has been a member of the All Elite Wrestling roster since signing with the promotion in January 2019 and has found success as both a babyface and a heel, capturing the TNT Championship and AEW National Championship during his time with the company.
Alongside his singles success, Perry is also one-half of Jurassic Express alongside Luchasaurus and is a former AEW World Tag Team Champion. He is additionally currently a member of The Elite.
While speculation surrounding Perry’s future can now be put to rest, recent reports indicate that WWE held little to no internal discussions regarding the possibility of signing the AEW star. You can read more about that here.
