Former TNA Star Abyss To Receive First WWE Mattel Action Figure

Abyss is set to receive his own WWE action figure.
“The Monster” Abyss became one of TNA’s most recognisable stars during his time with the company from 2002 to 2019. The Abyss character was a major part of TNA’s history, earning induction into the TNA Hall of Fame in 2018, although the gimmick never appeared in WWE during his in-ring career.
Despite never appearing in WWE as an active wrestler, Abyss is now set to receive his first WWE Mattel action figure. The figure was revealed by Ringside Collectibles at San Diego Comic-Con.

Standing at 6ft 8in and weighing 350lbs, Abyss was an intimidating presence in TNA. The masked monster became known for his hardcore wrestling style and competed in numerous memorable matches against the likes of AJ Styles, Sabu, Bully Ray, and many others.
Abyss, real name Chris Park, retired from in-ring competition in 2019 and joined WWE later that year as a producer, a role he continues to hold today. He made a brief on-screen appearance as the iconic character earlier this year as part of the celebration of AJ Styles’ career following the announcement of his retirement.
Thanks to TNA’s working relationship with WWE, the Abyss character as been immortalised in the form of a WWE action figure to which collectors can enjoy.
