Cody Rhodes Tells Celebrities In WWE To Give Him A Break
Cody Rhodes is tired of celebrities coming into WWE and messing with him
Since returning to WWE in April 2022, Cody Rhodes has been a fixture of the company’s main event scene. “The Grandson of a Plumber” is a three-time WWE Champion, winning his first title by ending Roman Reigns’ lengthy reign at WrestleMania XL. As the self-proclaimed quarterback of WWE, Rhodes has also been involved in numerous interactions with celebrities who have appeared in the company.
Enough seems to be enough, however, as speaking on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, Rhodes jokingly encouraged future celebrities involved with WWE to mess with someone else.
“A lot of the celebrities and people who want to cross into wrestling and we do some sort of merging of worlds, I feel like they always get involved in my stuff. Travis Scott, Pat McAfee, they always get right in on what I’m doing. If you come in, you can pick other people to mess with. You can.”

Cody Rhodes has frequently found himself involved in celebrity appearances during his WWE run. He was infamously defeated by John Cena at WrestleMania 41 after musician and ‘The Odyssey’ star Travis Scott caused a distraction. Former NFL star Pat McAfee, who has become a regular presence on WWE programming, also played a role in Rhodes’ WrestleMania feud with Randy Orton. Additionally, musician Jelly Roll assisted Rhodes during the rivalry.
Rhodes will be hoping to avoid any celebrity interference at SummerSlam this August, where he will challenge CM Punk for the Undisputed WWE Championship. This year’s event will be a two-night affair, taking place on August 1 and August 2 in Minneapolis.
