Kyle Fletcher Lists The AEW Wrestlers He Loves To Face In The Ring

Kyle Fletcher has listed the AEW wrestlers he believes he has the best matches with.

Chemistry in the wrestling ring is what can separate good matches from great matches, and great matches from legendary ones. Despite being still young in his career, Kyle Fletcher has been part of some of AEW’s most critically-acclaimed bouts, being able to work with wrestlers across different in-ring styles. With many memorable matches under his belt, “The Protostar” has now reflected on which opponents he thinks he works best with.

In a chat with The Knockturnal, he noted the AEW wrestlers he loves working with the most.

“Will Ospreay, hate his guts, love being in the ring with him. I love getting in the ring with anyone that really pushes me to be better and pushes me to work as hard as I possibly can to get the victory. Speedball Mike Bailey is another one. Every time we’re in the ring, it feels like I’m getting pushed to another level. I love getting in there with [Kazuchika] Okada. I’ve had three singles matches with him now in AEW, and now I get to team with him on the reg, which is awesome. I only had one match with [Jon] Moxley so far, but that was one of my favorite matches I’ve ever had, probably. Hangman [Page], same. I only had one match with him, but I know if we had more, it would be that same feeling again.”

Many consider Fletcher’s matches with Ospreay to be what allowed him to burst onto on the main event stage in AEW, something which was later backed up at All Out last year, when he went almost 40 minutes with Hangman for the Men’s World Championship.

Although he’d wrestled “The Rainmaker” before, Fletcher was matched up with all three of Okada, Speedball, and Moxley during the 2025 Continental Classic. Here, fans discovered the former TNT Champion’s in-ring chemistry with Mike Bailey, while his match with Moxley arguably stole the show at Worlds End.

Kyle Fletcher’s consistency is what makes him so beloved on the wrestling side of things, and many expect that same level of quality when he goes into Redemption tomorrow and faces Bandido for the International title.
