AEW’s Adam Copeland has answered the call and will be at Maple Leaf Pro in October.

Since its launch in 2024, Maple Leaf Pro has looked to rejuvenate the Canadian wrestling scene. Led by former TNA President Scott D’Amore, the company has filled the role as a successor to Maple Leaf Wrestling which ran in the 1970s and 80s. Their growth has been steady, with the promotion landing a TV deal on TSN2 which began earlier this month, and MLP have now announced a major name for October 3.

As shared on MLP’s social media, it was revealed that Adam Copeland is set for ‘Northern Rising’ on October 3.

This move allows Copeland to appear at Maple Leaf Gardens, a venue he’d previously expressed his desire to compete at. For now, we don’t yet know what role “The Rated R Superstar” is set to take at MLP’s next major show, however, given that he has been very active in AEW, as is 1/2 of the World Tag Team Champions, it’s very possible he’ll fulfill his wish of wrestling at the arena.

This arrival helps showcase the connection between All Elite Wrestling and Maple Leaf Pro, as AEW have allowed multiple of their talent to crossover into MLP since its inception, as well as allowing Don Callis to be one of their color commentators. Furthermore, on July 10, MLP announced its deal to broadcast Mayhem on MyAEW internationally, allowing more people to stream their shows.

Speaking of Copeland, the AEW star recently discussed who in the promotion he’d still love to face before he hangs up his boots. You can read more about that here.

As always, we’ll aim to provide any further updates on Adam Copeland’s upcoming Maple Leaf Pro appearance as soon as we hear more.
