Adam Copeland Reveals His Wishlist Of Future AEW Opponents

Adam Copeland has listed the AEW talent he wants to check off his list of potential opponents.
With over three decades of in-ring experience, Adam Copeland has had many legendary rivals throughout his career. However, after such a lengthy tenure with WWE, his move to AEW in 2023 opened up a lot of new possibilities for the veteran in terms of fresh opponents to face in the ring. Now, almost three years into his run, ‘The Rated R Superstar’ has listed some of the names he’s excited to compete against one day.
In a new interview with Shakiel Mahjouri of CBS Sports, Adam Copeland named the AEW talent he wants to work with in singles competition.
“There’s all the solo matches I haven’t dipped into yet between Swerve and Ospreay, and Fletcher, Joe, Hangman. There’s so much to work with and have fun.”

Having reunited with Christian Cage last year, Copeland is currently in the midst of his first reign as one-half of the AEW World Tag Team Champions. This Sunday, he can add both Clark Connors and David Finlay to the list of opponents he’s competed against as The Dogs look to claim the gold.
However, once the 52-year-old returns to singles action, many fans will be eager to see him square off with the likes of Swerve Strickland, Samoa Joe, and Will Ospreay among others.
Elsewhere in the interview, Copeland reflected on his time in The Judgment Day. Here, discussed Vince McMahon not seeing the value in Damian Priest and Rhea Ripley. You can read more about that here.
As always, we’ll aim to provide any further updates on Adam Copeland as soon as we hear more.
