Zilla Fatu Reportedly Expected To Sign For WWE

WWE are planning to sign Zilla Fatu.
The Anoaʻi family has a long history of success in professional wrestling, particularly in WWE. Legends such as Yokozuna, The Wild Samoans, The Rock, and Rikishi have cemented their place in the company’s history. In recent years, however, it is The Bloodline that has made the family a dominant force on WWE television, and that success could soon see its presence expand even further.
According to Fightful Select, WWE are currently planning on signing Zilla Fatu, with it possible that pen has already been put to paper following a recent visit to the WWE Performance Center.
“Fightful Select has learned that WWE’s current plan is to sign Zilla Fatu, if he hasn’t been signed already. Zilla was at the WWE Performance Center recently, and was going through some processes to prepare for the signing.”

Zilla Fatu, 26, is the son of the late two-time WWE Intercontinental Champion Umaga and regularly competes on the independent scene for the likes of Reality of Wrestling and House of Glory, the latter of which saw him unsuccessfully challenge MJF for the AEW World Championship earlier this year.
There has long been speculation that Zilla Fatu would eventually join WWE, although the report notes that plans to sign him are a recent development.
Roman Reigns, Zilla Fatu’s first cousin once removed, currently reigns as World Heavyweight Champion and has seemingly reformed The Bloodline after reuniting with The Usos and recently having Jacob Fatu acknowledge him as Tribal Chief.
With The Bloodline back as a featured act on WWE television, it seems a fair assumption that Fatu’s arrival could be linked to the group’s return. However, fellow Anoaʻi family member Solo Sikoa could soon find himself in need of allies as both Tama and Talla Tonga have left the MFTs, while an initial move to WWE’s NXT brand also remains a possibility.
Earlier this year, Zilla Fatu stated that he is not interested in signing with All Elite Wrestling, with his focus instead firmly set on joining WWE, a goal he now appears close to achieving. You can read more about that here.
As always, we’ll aim to provide any further updates on WWE’s plans to sign Zilla Fatu as soon as we hear more.
