Marigold Reveals DREAM✴︎STAR GP 2026 Lineup

During their monthly Korakuen Hall event, Marigold announced the competitors for the third annual DREAM✴︎STAR GP tournament.

The tournament will feature 24 wrestlers, an increase from the 16 competitors in the previous two editions, who will be divided into two blocks. Much like New Japan’s G1 Climax and STARDOM’s 5★STAR Grand Prix, each wrestler will face every competitor in their respective block, with the top performers advancing to the final. The winner of the DREAM✴︎STAR GP will earn a shot at the Marigold World Championship, currently held by Miku Aono.

Each match in the DREAM✴︎STAR GP will have a 15-minute time limit. Wrestlers will earn two points for a victory, zero points for a loss and one point each in the event of a draw. The tournament was first introduced in 2024, the same year Marigold was founded.

While the blocks have yet to be determined, the following 24 women are scheduled to compete in the largest DREAM✴︎STAR GP tournament to date:

2. Victoria Yuzuki – Marigold United National Champion & 2025 DREAM✴︎STAR GP Runner-Up

3. Chika Goto – Marigold Twin Star Champion

4. Kouki Amarei – Marigold Twin Star Champion

5. Mayu Iwatani – Marigold Super Fly Champion

6. Erina Yamanaka – Marigold 3D Trios Champion

7. Mai Sakurai – Marigold 3D Trios Champion & 2024 DREAM*STAR GP Runner-Up

8. Natsumi Showzuki – Marigold 3D Trios Champion

The DREAM✴︎STAR GP will begin on August 28 at Korakuen Hall and run until the finals on September 20, which will also take place at the venue.
