Triple H Confirms Brie Bella’s Arm Injury At WWE SummerSlam “Seems Pretty Bad”

Triple H has provided an injury update on Brie Bella after she appeared to suffer an arm injury during her match at SummerSlam.

At last night’s SummerSlam Saturday, Brie Bella appeared to suffer an arm injury during a 6-woman tag team match alongside her sister Nikki Bella and Paige, forcing the WWE Hall of Famer to receive medical attention after the match. The seriousness of the injury was not immediately known, leaving fans waiting for an update on the former Tag Team Champion’s condition, and we now know that initial impressions of her injury aren’t looking good.

Speaking during the SummerSlam post-show press conference, Triple H addressed the situation, expressing his hope she will make a quick recovery despite admitting that the injury “seems pretty bad”.

“I don’t have an update yet. She got some treatment here. Has been taken to the hospital to get some scans done. Don’t have a clean answer on it yet. I know she hurt her shoulder. Seems pretty bad, but I don’t have that answer yet. Hopefully we will soon, and hopefully it won’t be as bad as we thought it was.”

Since making her highly anticipated return to the WWE at the 2026 Royal Rumble in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, Brie Bella’s second run with the company has continued to gain momentum. Entering as the no. 29 entrant in the Women’s Royal Rumble, the Hall of Famer’s appearance marked her first match in over four years, following her last in-ring match in the 2022 Women’s Royal Rumble.

Shortly after her return, Brie reunited with Nikki as the duo set their sights on capturing the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship, a first in their respective careers. However, their plans were derailed when Nikki suffered an injury that sidelined her for several weeks, resulting with Brie teaming up with Paige after the former Diva Champion made her WWE return.

Brie and Paige would go on to capture the Women’s Tag Team Championship, carrying the titles for 91 days, before losing to Fatal Influence during the July 18 taping of Saturday Night’s Main Event in New York City. After Nikki returned to action, The Bella Twins and Paige challenged Fatal Influence at SummerSlam in a six-woman tag team match. However, the trio was unsuccessful, with Brie suffering the arm injury that prompt Triple H’s update. Following the loss, The Bellas turned on Paige, attacking their former partner after the match, although it was notable that Brie’s injury prevented her from getting too involved with the post-match beatdown.
