TNA Wrestling has confirmed that Mara Sadè is no longer with the company.

On July 29, Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select reported Mara Sadè was working as a free agent after her TNA contract had expired, with sources close to her saying she was in active negotiations with TNA while being in contact with multiple other companies. With rumours swirling regarding her status, an update has now emerged on her future.

Yesterday, August 3, TNA issues a press release announcing multiple departures, one of which being Mara Sadè, with the company wishing her the best going forward. Fans will still see her take on Heather By Elegance in a quarterfinal of the Knockouts Television Title tournament on Thursday’s August 6 episode of Impact.

The 31-year-old arrived in TNA in July 2025, weeks after her release from WWE, where she spent four years on the NXT roster as Jakara Jackson and was part of Meta-Four alongside Lash Legend, Oro Mensah and Noam Dar. Her TNA signing was confirmed the night she teamed with The IInspiration to beat The Elegance Brand in a six-woman tag match, and, as part of the brands’ working relationship, she returned to NXT in October 2025 to represent TNA at the NXT vs. TNA Showdown special. As yet, there’s been no indication on her next move.

Her most recent match to air was a first-round win over Tasha Steelz in the Knockouts Television Title tournament on the July 2 episode of Impact. You can find the latest update on the tournament here.

In the same press release, Jody Threat’s departure was announced, and you can read more about her exit here.

WrestlePurists would like to wish Mara Sadè well in everything she does next.

As always, we’ll aim to provide any further updates on Mara Sadè as soon as we hear more.
