Aalyah Mysterio Reportedly Part Of WWE’s Internal Roster Using “Gutierrez” Surname

Aalyah Mysterio is believed to have started at the WWE Performance Center
Back in September, Rey Mysterio revealed that he had taken his daughter Aalyah to the WWE Performance Center after the 24-year-old expressed interest in wrestling. Speculation intensified after Mysterio later posted “you’re WWE’s problem now, c u on TV,” seemingly hinting that she had signed with the company. The latest reports have now provided an update on her status.
According to PWInsider, Aalyah Mysterio has now reported to the WWE Performance Center and is listed on the company’s internal roster under her real name, Aalyah Gutierrez.
“Aalyah Gutierrez, the 24-year old daughter of Rey Mysterio, has officially started at the WWE Performance Center and is now part of the brand’s internal roster. She is listed under her given name, not the Mysterio surname that her father and brother Dominik utilize.”

WWE fans may remember Aalyah from her on-screen appearance in 2020, when she became involved in her family’s feud with Seth Rollins. She was placed in a romantic storyline with Rollins’ disciple Buddy Murphy, which ultimately contributed to the Australian turning against his mentor.
Should she eventually make her in-ring debut, Aalyah would follow her brother, former two-time Intercontinental Champion Dominik Mysterio, as the latest second-generation performer to continue the Mysterio family legacy. For now, however, what her venture into professional wrestling will ultimately look like remains to be seen.
