More WWE Main Roster Deals Reportedly Up In October

Several WWE main roster contracts are reportedly set to expire in October.

Earlier today, it was reported that Ilja Dragunov has departed WWE after his contract expired, a development that took many by surprise. According to Bryan Alvarez, WWE and Dragunov were still negotiating as recently as June, suggesting that a new deal had remained a possibility until relatively recently.

In the same report, Alvarez noted that Dragunov may not be the only WWE departure worth watching, revealing that several other main roster contracts belonging to wrestlers who have not featured much on television are set to expire in October.

“There are a few other main roster contracts of people who haven’t been on TV much coming due in October.”

While he did not specify which contracts he was referring to, Bayley is one name whose WWE future has attracted attention. Reports indicate that she has not signed a new deal, while recent social media activity has also prompted speculation about what could be next for the former WWE Women’s Champion.

That speculation remains just that for now, with no indication that Bayley is definitely leaving WWE. Her recent activity has nevertheless generated discussion, including a video that drew attention backstage and has added another layer to the uncertainty surrounding her future. Regarding Ilja Dragunov’s future, some fans have speculated that he could appear in AEW, potentially in the Casino Gauntlet at All In: London on August 30. However, there is currently nothing to substantiate those theories at the time of writing.
