Will Ospreay Says He Won’t Use Suffocation Against Kenny Omega At AEW All In

Will Ospreay rules out suffocating Kenny Omega to win at Wembley Stadium.
At AEW Redemption, Will Ospreay officially severed his ties to the Death Riders after refusing to use a plastic bag on Kenny Omega, taking a stance against Jon Moxley’s way to get an advantage on opponents. Since then, “The Aerial Assassin” has been keen to do things the right way, and this has now been undermined in one of the company’s newest media features.
Speaking to Rachel Bonnetta on Spill The Tea, Will Ospreay firmly stated that using suffocation in wrestling is morally wrong.
This highlights what Will didn’t do at AEW Redemption, but it also spotlights the dynamic between himself and Kenny Omega before All In. On last night’s AEW Dynamite, Kenny leaned into more villainous traits by showing a lack of respect toward Ospreay, ending the night by hitting a One Winged Angel through a table.
At present, we’re just ten days away from All In: London, with Ospreay looking to become the first Englishman to win a world championship on home soil. For now, whether that happens remains to be seen, but it’s fair to say that ideas of the match being a face vs. face contest may not be as accurate as first thought.
