The New Level are now in AEW, and they want to showcase what they can weekly.

AEW All In: London was a success on several levels, but the debut that continues to generate the most discussion is the arrival of Austin Creed and Kofi, now known as The New Level. The pair debuted by teaming with Swerve Strickland to win the Trios Championships, before making it clear that they also have their sights set on the tag team titles.

During the post-show media scrum, Tony Khan praised their work ethic, noting that the pair are eager to appear on Dynamite and Collision every week.

“Something that got me excited about New Level, these guys are not afraid to work very hard. They told me, ‘Hey, we see Jon Moxley at AEW Dynamite and Collision basically every week. We want to be at AEW Dynamite and Collision basically every week. We want to work really hard for the company. We’re going to be there practically every week.’ That’s really exciting to have people coming in like that. That’s only gonna bring more fans and attention.”

Following a bout between Adam Copeland and Christian and The Young Bucks that saw Cope and Cage retain the AEW World Tag Team Championship, the two teams were joined in the ring by FTR, Motor City Machine Guns, and The New Level, prompting chants of “tag team wrestling” from the Wembley crowd.

When Kofi spoke at that same scrum, he talked about being in the ring with the aforementioned host of legendary tag teams and the quality of the division as a whole being a driving force behind the pair joining All Elite Wrestling.

“That is a big part of the reason why we wanted to come here. We’ve been watching from afar, and I told Tony [Khan] this when we were talking on our video chat. This tag team division is one of, if not the greatest of all time in the history of the business, and I mean that. So for us, we consider ourselves to be the best. So we want to mix it up with all the tag teams. So for us to be in there and to have y’all recognize that, it feels like we made the right decision.”

If things go as planned, AEW fans could be in for an impressive run from the duo. Their first official AEW television match is already set, with Swerve Strickland and The New Level scheduled to defend the Trios Championships against The Rascalz this Wednesday.

Elsewhere during the media scrum, Tony Khan revealed that AEW plans to return to Wembley Stadium in the future. You can read more about that here.

As always, we’ll aim to provide any further updates on future plans for The New Level as soon as we hear more.
