WWE Reportedly View Royce Keys As A Future World Champion After Recent Main Event Role

Royce Keys is reportedly seen as a future WWE world champion.

After a mixed start to life in WWE, Royce Keys’ was given a major boost when he, Lucien Price, and Bronco Nima burst onto the scene on the August 24 episode of RAW. The trio ambushed LA Knight, Solo Sikoa, and the Usos to close the show, and have since been butting heads with The Bloodline. On the most recent edition of the company’s flagship show, the group known as “946” even set their rival’s car on fire to intensify their feud, and it now seems Keys’ work in recent weeks hasn’t gone unnoticed.

According to False Finish, Royce Keys is viewed as a future world champion in WWE. This follows on from a report via WRKD Wrestling revealing that the star has been given huge praise internally for his performance in a main event role.

“As @WRKDWrestling mentioned yesterday, Royce Keys has been given massive praise behind the scenes for instantly slotting into a major main event role effortlessly. One source noted to False Finish that several higher ups in WWE view Royce Keys as a future World Champion in the company.”

Keys first made his WWE debut as part of the 2026 Royal Rumble, although he largely competed in dark matches until April, when he won the Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal and began making more frequent appearances on SmackDown. Having taken on The Bloodlune at SummerSlam, the former AEW TNT Champion had started to build momentum in WWE and now looks to become one of their top names.

Although he now heads up 946 alongside Price and Nima, the group are yet to have a match since their debut as a unit. Keys’ last match came on August 3, taking on Jacob Fatu in a street fight. For now, his next in-ring appearance remains to be seen, although fans can likely expect The Bloodline to look for revenge on the newly-formed trio before long.
