Worlds Collide Start Time Reportedly Chosen To Directly Conflict With AEW All Out

WWE have reportedly picked the Worlds Collide start time to directly clash with AEW All Out.
In the modern era, counterprogramming between America’s two top promotions has become common. For example, when All Elite Wrestling headed to the UK for All In: London, WWE put on a double-header event featuring AAA and NXT to try to set it back, and this strategy isn’t slowing down. Later this month, WWE will stage Worlds Collide in the same city as AEW All Out, and more has emerged on the show’s start time.
According to an update from WrestleVotes on Fightful Select, the time Worlds Collide will start has been planned to clash with All Out.
“We’re told the 8 PM start time for Worlds Collide in Rosemont, Illinois, is a reflection of the city and date chosen, with the intention of directly competing with AEW All Out, which is on the same day in Hoffman Estates, Illinois.”

When it comes to what’s on offer for fans, no matches have been confirmed for the AAA show as of writing, though it’s anticipated that CM Punk will make an appearance at the Allstate Arena. On the other hand, those in the NOW Arena are set to see Jon Moxley take on Will Ospreay in All Out’s main event, while The Brawling Birds and Cope and Cage are both set for tag team title defences.
It’s worth noting that the recent doubleheader of AAA and NXT shows didn’t quite go to plan for WWE, as half the audience had left before the NXT main event even occurred. You can read more about WWE’s reaction to that here.
As always, we’ll aim to provide any further updates on Worlds Collide conflicting with All Out as soon as we hear more.
