Blake Monroe Addresses Not Wrestling On The Main Roster Yet: People Are So Impatient
Blake Monroe urges fans to be more patient with her WWE main roster in-ring debut.
On the SmackDown following WrestleMania 42, Blake Monroe officially joined the blue brand. With vignettes teasing her arrival, the Brit made her first on-screen appearance on Friday nights in May, however she’s still yet to wrestle a televised match since joining the main roster. Now, Monroe has addressed fan concern over her lack of in-ring time.
Speaking to Sporf, Blake Monroe stressed people should be patient when it comes to her time on SmackDown.
“People are very impatient, Have you guys never taken time and care with anything? When you’re dating a woman, what do you think is going to happen on the first date? I’m betting it doesn’t happen, whatever you’re thinking. You have to wait for a good thing. I have always documented my journey very well so I have a strong fanbase that have seen me go from the independent scene to Japan to America, now to NXT and WWE. So they’re so invested in me and want me to do well. People can get nervous or scared and I understand that, but you have to have patience. Timing is everything. But I think that’s why people are invested in me, because they know me.”

Monroe was initially advertised to face Giulia on the August 21 episode of SmackDown, allowing fans to go into the show thinking they’d see her in-ring debut. Yet, the former AEW star attacked her opponent before the bell, further prolonging her first match as part of the blue brand. Still, the rivalry between Monroe and Giulia is ongoing, with many viewers feeling as if a clash between them is just a matter of time.
On that note, though, Monroe revealed via TikTok that she’s actually set for surgery on her mouth after receiving a knee strike from Giulia. While this may intensify their feud, it may add further waiting time for those wanting to see Blake compete on Friday nights.
