Bayley Reflects On Her 18-Year Anniversary As A Professional Wrestler
Bayley has discussed reaching 18 years as a professional wrestler.
Easily one of the most dominant stories throughout the wrestling world in 2026 has been Bayley’s contract status in WWE. With each new twist and turn in the tale, fans are left with more questions than answers about her future, with the star being back on TV today despite reports indicating she’s still yet to officially re-sign with the company. In amongst that, though, Bayley has now taken a moment to reflect on reaching her 18-year anniversary as a wrestler.
Over on her Instagram, Bayley posted a message message about how she’s grateful for her wrestling journey, including her recent visits to Chile, while also hosting another Lodestone camp.
While some questions still remain about her future, there’s no doubting how great Bayley’s career has been thus far. Debuting in 2008, the 37-year-old has been under WWE contract since December 2012, being a key figure in the company’s women’s revolution. In particular, her matches with Sasha Banks in NXT were among the first to turn the tide in terms of how women’s wrestling was seen in WWE.
One of the four horsewomen, Bayley can look back on four world championships on the main roster, as well as two reigns with the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships. Notably, she was the first Women’s Grand Slam Champion, too.
With it looking likely that she’ll remain with WWE, it’s possible she adds to her collection. But, with her future still yet to be made official, it’s something to keep an eye on in the coming weeks.
