WWE Main Event To Begin Airing On Rumble

Main Event is headed to Rumble.

WWE Main Event made its debut in the fall of 2012 as a show on Ion Television. Since then it’s switched platforms several times before making its way to YouTube this past January. Now, it prepares to change platforms once again, this time now switching to video streaming site Rumble.

As first reported by Variety, Main Event will begin airing at 8 pm ET/5 pm PT on Wednesday October 14. The show will joining the sites Rumble Sports section. When discussing the new deal, Claudio Ramolo, Rumble’s chief content officer, praised WWE for consisting ranking among the most-watched content across television, social media, and streaming platforms.

This is just one of the many content deals WWE has signed in recent years but it may be its most controversial. Rumble was founded as essentially an alt-right version of YouTube which consists of content geared towards conservative and right-wing audiences. This could be WWE’s attempt at exploring how much crossover appeal it has with such audiences. Currently, some recent episodes of Main Event can be watched on the platform.
